COMBAT VETERANS MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION
MISSOURI CHAPTER 4-3 SOUTHWEST REGION
The CVMA is an association of combat veterans of all branches of the armed forces of the United States of America who ride motorcycles as a hobby. We are not a Motorcycle Club, but an Association of Combat Veterans.
Our membership is comprised of military veterans with verified combat service. We sponsor and/or participate in motorcycle related charity events,
and as a not for profit organization, donate to various veteran charities. Our mission is to support and defend those who defend and have defended our country and our freedoms.
Our focus is to help veteran care facilities, provide a warm meal, or a simple handshake and say "Welcome Home and Thank You for your service and your, and your family's sacrifices."
The CVMA emblem, the skull and spade, is symbolic in color and design. Red represents the blood that has been shed on the battlefield. The Military Gold represents the many ethnic backgrounds of all nations. Black represents the heavy hearts possessed for those who gave their lives and for those that are considered missing in action or prisoners of war. The skull and ace of spades represent the death that war leaves in its wake.
Definition of a Veteran :
A veteran - whether active duty, retired, or national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his, or her, life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America," for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.
